In our previous post’s we saw how to create a Virtual Network and Subnets. Today we are going to create a Virtual Machine and assign it to subnet1. If you have not gone through the previous post kindly refer it for better understanding.

For the following post I have created a Windows Server 2012 R2 Virtual Machine.
Kindly refer to the post on how to create a Virtual Machine from scratch. In this post I will just be sharing how can we assign our VM to VNet and appropriate Subnet while configuring the Virtual Machine.
In the Settings Blade – Under Network Select the Virtual network created and subnet under which you want to associate your Virtual Machine.
After Successful creation of Virtual Machine, you will notice that your VM has been placed under appropriate Virtual network/subnet specified.
